What you’ll do
Grow and engage our community of learners and teachers across channels (platform, social, newsletters, events).
Create community programs — challenges, showcases, feedback loops, and peer-to-peer inspiration.
Support users directly — answering questions, celebrating wins, solving problems fast.
Spot emerging trends inside the community and share insights with product and growth teams.
Tell community stories — spotlighting real people who embody SkillSwap’s spirit.
Build early ambassador and referral programs to help the community grow organically.
You might be a fit if
You have 2+ years of experience managing communities (especially in tech, edtech, creator, or startup spaces).
You’re a natural connector — you love helping people feel seen, heard, and empowered.
You have strong written communication skills — friendly, warm, clear.
You can handle challenges calmly — turning complaints into conversations.
You know how to create online engagement (discussions, AMAs, meetups, newsletters, etc).
You care deeply about building trust, not just driving numbers.
Nice to have (but not required)
Experience setting up community tools (Slack, Discord, Circle, forums, etc).
Basic content creation skills (stories, posts, simple visuals).
Global community experience — SkillSwap’s users come from everywhere.
Why you’ll love working at SkillSwap
